Challenge
Medical spas operate at the intersection of healthcare and hospitality, requiring systems that can handle both clinical documentation and premium client experience. Generic salon software lacks medical features, while healthcare systems lack the client experience focus medspas need.
Solution
We developed a purpose-built platform that combines clinical rigor with luxury service expectations. The system tracks treatment histories, manages consent forms, handles appointment scheduling, and provides personalized communication tools. It is built as a full-stack Next.js application — server components and API routes handle business logic, Prisma models the clinical data in PostgreSQL, Clerk secures staff and client access, Stripe processes payments, and Twilio drives SMS reminders.
